FRANZ FERDINAND: Eleanor Put Your Boots On

Folksy single the Scottish quartet. I barely recognized the sound, save for Alex Kapranos's recognizable pipes, as it owns a space very much remote from the jangling disco floor pleasing pomp of previous singles. The video is a animated and features 'Eleanor'- a combination of big-eyed collector doll, Blythe, and sullen neo gothic Emily Strange. I miss the dancing. Does this mean Goth is back? Watch the video (qt - stream).
