VETO: We Are Not Your Friends

This track is really awesome. Perhaps it's the studied melancholy of the Danish band's vocals, lyrics and instrumentation. Flourishes of electronic tinkering mix with rock performance posturing without veering towards emo's melodrama or new wave nostalgia. A thoroughly modern piece of music, as only the Danes know how. The moody video is directed by Peder Pederson. Man, kids are mean. Watch the video (qt).
