THE ENRIGHT HOUSE: Solitaire

Remember those trippy videos cliptip adored from Vancouver moody electronic artist Circlesquare? Well, we've recently discovered a new prog rock, electronic group from Christchurch, New Zealand with a similar atmospheric pulse. All you arty indie kids get ready for something you'll want to file besides your collection of Sigur Ros CD's, Mogwai vinyl and M83 EPs. The video is directed by fellow New Zealander Ed Lust. Cheers to Mark and the band for hooking us up. Watch the music video (qt) or youtubed.

You intrigue me baby.

You get my creative juices flowing. Maybe we can work something out on a physical level.

Be more than my muse.

hey Mark, I haven't been able to get it to play. Maybe I'm not being patient enough...

I'll stick the page open for a bit.

Hey Dale,

Have you downloaded the file, and then it won't play? Or are you trying to stream? The QT file plays fine for me at home, and, from what I've heard, for other people as well. Maybe check out the video on YouTube if all else fails (the quality is quite decent really)?

P.S.: You have a really nice portfolio of your work on your website! How long have you been working in film and animation?

A while, but been directing more in the last two years. Thanks for the kind thoughts. I am/was a dp for the last 10 years. do steadicam too if you need it.

...I found a cool trick. If you use Virb.com to encode your clips and embed them instead of you tube. they pay really well with great image quality. I'm linking up my clips in quicktime and I'll now have a flash embedded page with the virb ones as well. I'm also putting the virb ones on my myspace page.

Hey sorry for hijacking your comments Ernest! :)
