THE HIDDEN CAMERAS: Awoo

V FESTIVAL TORONTO The first single from album #3 by the don't-call-them-gay-church-folk-music-anymore Toronto band. There have been terrifying line-up changes on the Hidden Cameras pirate ship, but the main man Joel Gibb sallies forth. This video visually demonstrates the current undertone in hipster bands nomenclature: your band is not relevant unless there are wolves involved. The Hidden Cameras are one of the many bands lined up to play the first North American edition of the Virgin CEO Richard Branson's V Festival. Of all cities in North America, it lands here first in my backyard called Toronto. Yep, Toronto the bland is now Toronto the cool. Watch the video (qt).
