SKALPEL: 1958

Shuffling snare drums and jazz samples are the mainstay to the black and white retrospective of imagery from the track title era. Of course, Skalpel is labelled by the avant hop curators of Ninja tune. The two member band of Marcin Cichy and Igor Pudlo hail from far away and unlikely Wroclaw, Poland where the mine the dusty crates of forgotten Polish jazz records. Directed by Dariusz Szermanowicz and Magierski for #13. Watch the video (qt).
