STELLASTARR*: Sweet Troubled Soul

Oh, Stellastarr*. All things pointed to instant success- a cool New York address in a the maelstrom of New York buzz bands, a trendy new wave soundclash of guitars and synths, and a distinctive mood that meshes so well with an upsweep of Joy Division-esque contemporaries. And yet you still struggle to break out to the statosphere of pop hipness reserved for the likes of Interpol or the Killers.
