KELLY CLARKSON: Since You Been Gone

What is with this goddamn infectious tune that has me humming incessantly despite its obvious pop machine talent contest pagentry? I mean for goodness sakes, it's the bloody American Idol! I guess when it boils down to it, it's all about the music. And it is a finely crafted, well performed pop gem. Now the From Justin to Kelly movie? That's a whole other story tragedy...
